Laserquest Nijmegen invested in a 12ft Shuffleboard bar. When I visited Stefan and Az Groen from Laserquest Nijmegen, we looked at all possible locations for where a shuffleboard could be in their venue. We moved all the tables, measured all possible options to see where a shuffleboard could fit the best. We looked at how the other tables and bar stools should be used. Having everything laid out we concluded the best possible location. It just fits with all the walking routes and is a great location in their venue.
Almost no tables needed to be replaced. No seating area was lost. Only a Shuffleboard bar was added, adding an extra experience and activity for the guests of Laserquest Nijmegen. Not only having a bar table, but having a bar table with a shuffleboard inside. And having 12 bar stools. This may be the new table for all regulars.
Laserquest Nijmegen is on the first floor, with tight turns and staircase. So there was a challenge to get the shuffleboard inside. We made a project planning, a crane was organized and everything was hoisted inside through the window. All needed to be done before 12:00 as it is in the city center in Nijmegen. The Shuffly crew installed the shuffleboard, making adjustments to the floor as discussed before, to make the table fully stable. It was a great operation with success.
